In 2024, Plenty® opened its first strawberry farm – growing berries with peak-summer flavor year-round in the heart of Virginia. We’ll start harvesting in early 2025.
But strawberries are just the beginning. Plenty’s proprietary growing platform allows us to grow a diversity of crops vertically indoors. Just imagine the possibilities.

We run thousands of tests to figure out the right levels of hydration, nutrients, and light to grow the very best plants indoors – exploring the outer bounds of what is possible for indoor farming. We take what we learn here and apply it to our full-scale farms.

Plenty’s technology is modular and scalable to work across a wide range of fruits, vegetables, and other plants and crops.
We’re reimagining the farm from the ground up, which means a lot of brand new hardware, software, robotics, and more. Plenty® has more US patents than all other indoor sunless growers combined. That’s a lot of fresh thinking.
We’ve spent over a decade in research and development to build a new way to farm. In 2023 we announced plans to expand our research facility in Laramie, WY to become the world’s largest of its kind, so we’ve only just begun.
Our farm collects nearly 10 million data points each day, so we can keep a close eye on what works best and apply cutting edge technology to grow better everyday.
